Cougar Run has gone through yet another change since I first thought about putting together my own personal web site.  I originally thought to put together a "kid safe" site, something that my wife's and my grandkids could explore (we now have ten grand-sproggs as of 2 October 1997), show their school friends and not raise concerns in their respective parents.  I also wanted to focus on one of my favorite topics - Large Cats and their survival.

This latest incarnation still focuses on cats, large and small, but also introduces some other topics like the restoration of an MG TD sports car that has become pretty central in my life. As I get time and make progress with my project I will update the pages accordingly. For those whose taste in matters feline tend towards the common house cat (I feel safe with this description since my cats can't read) I will be including pages featuring what has become America's favorite companion animal as well as continue to add to the large cat pages.

If you have material that you would like to share concerning cats, wild or otherwise please E-mail me.  I'm looking for photos, stories, sketches, anything that helps to portray the beauty of nature's most elegant predator.  I can't promise that I will include it in a page, but if I do be sure to spell your name correctly so that it appears the way you want it in the credits line.

My pages are optimized for screens set to 800x600 pixels of resolution. If your computer display is running at a setting less than that the text will probably wrap unpredictably and the graphics won't appear as crisp or detailed. If your display is set higher than 800x600 you may want to increase your browser's font size so that the text is a little easier to read.

Last but not least I want to clearly state that only the printed matter directly associated with this site is of my own creation.  Some of the graphics that I've used have been gathered from the web from sunsite.sut.ac.jp/multimed/pics/feline as well as several others that I didn't think to log back when I started collecting them. If you should see material that is yours, protected by copyright and/or you object to my using it, please E-mail me right away so that I can either remove it or work with you to obtain the right to use it and assign proper credit.  Thankyou, Bosscat - Webmaster for Cougar-Run.
