Cheetahs are the fastest land animals on earth, unassisted of course!! They also possess a grace unequaled by any other of the larger cats.

Cheetahs appear to have a sense of humor and play. Most cats seem to have a sense of self and must know that a playful pose like this also makes them look a little goofy. They probably just don't take themselves too seriously.

Cheetahs have a striking appearance with their dark eyes and noses accentuated by the black "tear streaks" running down to their muzzles.

These young cheetahs are living on a cheetah reserve in Namibia. Once cheetahs ranged throughout Africa and part of the Middle East, but now their numbers are greatly reduced. Many efforts are being made to try to stop cheetahs from dying out completely.
